Potentially good tutorial spoiled by bad English translation and often ill-considered selection of progress views. Typically we would also start with sketches of the front view and a side view. It is quite difficult to guess how the side may look from just a single orthographic front view. Some of the techniques used seem atypical and idiosyncratic. Nice end product product though. Was it inspired by a toy or storybook? Used somewhere in a game or animation?
