Call for Content Blenderart #22

It’s time again to start thinking about articles, tutorials and images for Issue # 22 of Blenderart Magazine. The theme for this issue is “Things that go bump in the Night”.

Halloween is traditionally the time for spooky, scary fun, but “Things that go bump in the Night” happen all year round. So let’s have some fun with and explore things that give us those delightful creepy shivers.

So visit the dark recesses of your imaginations and give us a little scare!!!

We are looking for:

  • Lighting for spooky, eery or night scenes
  • Characters that are spooky, creepy or scary
  • Images, Animations, Games that evoke a sense of dread/spookiness/eery caution

Also wanted, great shaders, materials and node setups for great looking materials and effects.

  • Hmm.. timeline a bit tight and busy, but we at Freezing Moon might pull it off… at least with an image of one of our characters in development, the Leech. Need to talk to a mate and see how things go :D

I’m sure this is going to be a kickass issue anyway!
