So there seems to be a bug in that specific program. Anyway, thank you for your attention. All is good now :). Just found out that there is now a 7.0 beta 1 version. Anyway, I never had problems in the past when dealing with zip files. I use Acrobat Reader 8.0 to read PDF files, which in this case is not a relevant issue because I still had to unzip the PDF -- and *that* worked fine as expected.
